Christian hip-hop artist and Dove Award winner Hulvey canceled a sold-out concert at Club Annie in Amsterdam approximately one hour before the scheduled performance. The cancellation followed the discovery of sexually explicit images and objects displayed on the venue walls.

Hulvey reported that during a VIP meet-and-greet, fans including children as young as seven encountered the graphic imagery. His team attempted to negotiate with venue management to cover the displays, but the venue reportedly only offered to cover a portion of the bar area rather than the walls.

The artist stated the decision was rooted in his faith and a desire to protect families, noting in a social media video, ‘I stand for Jesus only.’ His team indicated they were not informed of the venue change to a larger location prior to discovering the displays. Efforts are underway to reschedule the performance at a different location.
