Local municipalities in Hungary have held ceremonies to recognize citizens for their long-term contributions to community service and education.

In Gyál, Kovács Istvánné Aranka was named an Honorary Citizen for her work in education and community building. In Szegvár, Vígh Károlyné Berkecz Magdolna and Magyar Pál received the Szegvárért Memorial Medal for their leadership in senior support and volunteer work.
