In Kolozsvár, a year-long program titled ‘Hat élet, hat sors’ (Six lives, six fates) was launched to showcase the heritage of the Hungarian musical stage. Organized by singer Róbert Plesa and the Operettissimo ensemble, the series focuses on the personal stories and works of composers such as Béla Zerkovitz, Mihály Eisemann, Lajos Lajtai, Szabolcs Fényes, Alfréd Márkus, and Rezső Seress. In Budapest, the Operetta Theatre held a gala titled ‘Álom, álom, édes álom’ to observe Hungarian Operetta Day on October 24.
