Hungarian supermarkets continue to offer various discounts on meat, fish, and other food staples. While previous promotions at Aldi and Lidl on salmon fillets and fresh trout concluded on September 20, new offers have emerged.

In the meat and fish sector, Lidl is providing a 50% discount on chicken necks through September 27. Auchan and Spar are also running promotions on items such as pork shoulder and duck breast, often through their respective loyalty programs. Retailers have expanded discounts to include beverages and snacks. Tesco is running promotions on coffee brands, specifically Dallmayr Prodomo and Pellini, until September 30, though many of these deals require a Clubcard. Additionally, Aldi and Lidl are featuring discounts on smoothies, juices, and various snacks.

By early October, major retailers including Tesco, Lidl, Auchan, and Spar have introduced significant discounts on frozen foods. Notable frozen deals include Buitoni Piccolinis mini pizzas at 52% off and Dr. Oetker Ristorante pizzas at 38% off, alongside Aviko onion rings and vegetable mixes at Lidl and Spar.

Meat and fish promotions remain prominent, featuring 50% off chicken necks, 41% off Pickolino sausages, and 40% off various salami products. Access to the lowest prices often requires participation in specific loyalty programs, such as the Tesco Clubcard, Auchan Bizalomkártya, or Lidl Plus.
