Sources: 10. Developments: 2. Recent updates regarding participants and contestants of the Hungarian X Factor include discussions on the pressures of the competition and individual career trajectories. Singer Gabi Tóth addressed the situation involving 15-year-old contestant Enikő Nagy, who briefly went missing following social media backlash over an audition performance. Tóth expressed hope for the teenager’s well-being and called for more nuanced discussions regarding the pressures placed on young performers. Alongside these comments, Tóth has also undergone visible style changes, transitioning from long, straight blonde hair to a blonde-brown afro-braided hairstyle. In other developments, former ‘Csillag Születik’ winner Rebeka Kristóf appeared as a solo contestant in X Factor auditions, where mentor ByeAlex recognized her. Recent episodes have also featured high-stakes moments involving mentors, such as Gáspár Laci providing a stern critique to Viktória Fehér—comparing her to her brother, former winner Krisztián—and ByeAlex halting a performance by Ildi Csuki’s singing teacher due to vocal inaccuracies. Additionally, first-season runner-up Nikolas Takács shared updates on his musical journey and his transition to independent life in Budapest. Following his increased television visibility, Takács has issued a public warning regarding identity theft, reporting that fraudulent social media profiles are using his name and likeness to scam followers, including elderly individuals. He has urged fans to only follow his official channels. In the musical competition Sztárban Sztár, Ádám Szofi secured her place following a highly praised performance, while Kovács Áron was eliminated after receiving fewer viewer votes. Kovács noted that the electronic nature of his performance track, ‘Mizu’, made it difficult to replicate in a live setting. ## Timeline ### 2026-10-24: Sztárban Sztár: Contestants face elimination and identity theft warnings Contestants in TV2’s Sztárban Sztár face mixed fortunes: Ádám Szofi advances, Kovács Áron is eliminated, and Nikolas Takács warns fans about fraudulent social media profiles using his identity. 7 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/hungarian-music-news-x-factor-contestants-and-career-updates ### 2026-10-15: Gabi Tóth debuts new hairstyles and addresses X Factor controversy Singer Gabi Tóth has debuted new hairstyles, including blonde-brown afro braids, while also addressing the recent controversy surrounding missing X Factor contestant Enikő Nagy. 4 sources. https://clstr.news/cluster/gabi-tth-debuts-new-hairstyles-and-addresses-x-factor-controversy --- Cite as: Hungarian X Factor and musical competition developments.
