The company signed a memorandum of understanding with Hyundai Motor Company to integrate AI-based smart factory technologies and automation into its aerospace production facilities, aiming to enhance engine quality and safety.

Furthering its technical development, Hyundai Rotem has engaged with Ansys Korea to cooperate on simulation-based design and analysis. At the AEROTEC fair, the company showcased various propulsion systems, including methane engines for reusable launch vehicles, ducted ramjet engines, and hypersonic engines. To support these advancements, Hyundai Rotem plans to invest approximately 300 billion won by 2034 to establish an aerospace production and R&D hub in Muju, Jeonbuk State.
