# ICAI empanelment deadline extension

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has extended the submission deadline for the Multipurpose Empanelment Form (MEF) for the 2026-27 period. Members are now required to complete online submissions by 9 September 2026.

The Professional Development Committee (PDC) announced that this extension is intended to provide members with sufficient time to file. The ICAI stated that no further extensions will be granted, as the PDC must submit the Bank Branch Auditors’ Panel to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) within the required timeframe.
