Icelandic women's sports have seen activity in both international and domestic competitions. The U17 national volleyball team traveled to Denmark to compete in the North European Volleyball Zonal Association (NEVZA) tournament in Ikast, despite a recent classification change moving Iceland into the Small Countries Association (SCA).

In domestic volleyball, Þróttur Fjarðabyggð secured a 3–0 victory against Völsungur in the Unbroken division, marking their first home win of the season. Meanwhile, several Icelandic footballers achieved success in European leagues, including Cecilía Rán Rúnarsdóttir maintaining a clean sheet for Inter Milan in Serie A, and Sigdís Eva Bárðardóttir scoring for Norrköping in Sweden.
