The Dominican Institute for Evaluation and Research of Educational Quality (Ideice) conducted the Regional Pre-Congress of Educational Evaluation and Research (Preie) for the Northern Region in Mao, Valverde. 

The congress served as a platform for researchers, teachers, students, and academic representatives from six educational regions to analyze 50 specialized studies. These included diagnostic assessments from 2023–2024 and results from 2025 national tests. The objective of the gathering was to use this evidence to design classroom innovations and public policies.

Ideice Executive Director Jesús Andújar Avilés stated that evaluation must move beyond merely measuring results to “understanding educational reality for transformation.” He advocated for converting evidence into concrete actions to improve learning outcomes and scale successful educational experiences.
