The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have conducted a series of targeted strikes in the Gaza Strip aimed at degrading the capabilities of Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

In mid-October, operations resulted in the deaths of three militants, including a Hamas company commander and members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad. During these strikes, the military destroyed four weapons storage facilities containing rockets, mortars, and rifles.

By late October, the IDF and the Israel Security Agency (ISA) reported the elimination of two individuals linked to the financing of militant groups. One strike in Gaza City killed a Hamas military cell commander, while another in the Nuseirat area eliminated an affiliate of Palestinian Islamic Jihad involved in transferring millions of shekels from Iran and Turkey to Hamas. Additional aerial strikes during this period targeted weapons storage facilities containing launchers and rockets.
