The 27th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Weekend & Awards is scheduled to return to Abu Dhabi in January 2027. The event will be held at the Etihad Arena on Yas Island on January 22 and 23, marking the fourth time the ceremony has been hosted in the city.

Organized in partnership with Miral and the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, the announcement was formalized during the Arabian Travel Market 2026. The ceremony is expected to feature a lineup including Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, and Ali Fazal.

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is confirmed to perform at the event, which he described as a “celebration of films, people, and audiences.” The main awards will be hosted by Karan Johar and Varun Dhawan, while the IIFA Digital Awards will be hosted by Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal.
