Hyderabad police dismantled an illegal drug racket in the Begum Bazar area involving the sale of mephentermine sulphate injections used for bodybuilding. 

Authorities arrested four individuals, including suspects Gowtham Singh and R Abhilash, who allegedly sourced the injections from Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, via WhatsApp for approximately Rs 160 per vial before reselling them for Rs 900 each. Two alleged consumers were also taken into custody. Police seized 50 vials of mephentermine sulphate, insulin injections, and other items with an estimated value of Rs 1.85 lakh.
