In Valsad district, Gujarat police arrested Jaykaran Prajapat following a raid on a rented residence. Authorities reported that Prajapat was treating patients with allopathic medicines without possessing a medical degree. During the operation, police seized 31 different brands of medicine valued at approximately Rs 53,751. 

The arrest was conducted under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and the Medical Practitioners Act as part of a broader regional crackdown on unqualified medical practitioners.
