The samba school Imperatriz Leopoldinense has initiated preparations for the 2027 Carnival season. President Cátia Fonseca announced leadership transitions, including the singer Iza moving from ‘Rainha de Bateria’ (Drum Queen) to ‘Rainha da Escola’ (School Queen).
