Incheon is implementing several initiatives to increase cultural engagement and accessibility within the region.

Local programs include the ‘2026 Incheon Art Road’ hosted by the Incheon Art Platform, which allows citizens to explore 25 artistic spaces through docent tours and stamp collections. Additionally, the Geomdan-gu district has launched ‘Geomdan Turtle,’ a multi-purpose cultural complex designed to host plays, performances, and resident exhibitions to revitalize the local arts ecosystem.

To further support accessibility, Incheon Metropolitan City is issuing additional Youth Culture and Arts Passes starting October 1. This program provides 150,000 KRW to 1,648 local youths aged 19 to 20. The expanded scope of the pass now includes movies and books in addition to traditional performances and exhibitions, with cooperation from nine different reservation platforms.
