Actress Inde Navarrette has confirmed her role as Rogue in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) X-Men reboot, directed by Jake Schreier. In interviews with the Los Angeles Times, Navarrette stated she is “doing everything humanly possible” to do the character justice for the creative team and the fanbase.

To prepare for the role, Navarrette is studying the character’s history and working to master a specific Mississippi accent, drawing on her own upbringing in Texas.
