Following a period of instability and the departure of coach Gustavo Quinteros, Independiente has begun a process of squad and leadership renewal.

The club officially appointed Jadson Viera as its new head coach on a one-year contract. The agreement includes a unilateral rescission clause effective in December to accommodate the club’s upcoming electoral cycle.
