In Puri, officials from the Food Safety Unit and district administration raided several manufacturing establishments, including those near the Shree Jagannath Temple. These operations resulted in the seizure of sugar syrup, khaja, and LPG cylinders, with five manufacturing units being sealed for alleged violations. 

In Karnataka, the Food Safety and Drug Administration Department conducted a special inspection drive across multiple districts, including Bagalkote, Mysuru Rural, and Hubballi-Dharwad. During this two-day period, officials inspected 186 locations and issued notices to 25 food business operators for infractions such as unhygienic preparation, lack of medical fitness certificates, and missing licenses. Approximately 270 food samples were collected for laboratory analysis.
