In September 2026, several Indian life insurance providers introduced new financial products. 

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) launched two plans to mark its 70th anniversary: LIC Bima Platinum, a non-linked savings plan with guaranteed additions, and LIC Jeevan Raksha, a pure risk plan for financial protection. 

Following this, Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance (ABSLI) and Tata AIA Life Insurance released products focused on retirement and wealth management. ABSLI introduced the Smart Wealth Pension Plan, an equity-linked retirement fund with various investment strategies, while Tata AIA launched the Tata AIA Shubh SIP, a unit-linked insurance plan designed for market-linked corpus building and systematic retirement withdrawals.
