The Indianapolis Colts are navigating a difficult season following a 2-5 start, marked by a 16-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Head coach Shane Steichen has maintained confidence in veteran quarterback Daniel Jones despite his performance metrics, which include a low passer rating and seven interceptions through seven games. Steichen noted that while Jones needs to improve, he remains committed to the quarterback as he recovers from a ruptured Achilles tendon.

In addition to quarterback scrutiny, the team faces speculation regarding potential roster changes. Reports have suggested possible trades involving defensive tackle Grover Stewart to the Carolina Panthers and star running back Jonathan Taylor to the New York Giants.
