Five suspects were arrested following a $2 million jewelry heist and $65,000 cash theft at King Jewelers on Emerson Avenue in southeast Indianapolis. The suspects, who include three adults and two juveniles, reportedly led police on a three-county chase on I-65 before fleeing on foot.

During the investigation, the suspects identified themselves as members of Tren de Aragua, a Venezuelan-based criminal organization. 

Subsequent legal proceedings saw two of the teenagers, aged 16 and 17, charged as adults in Marion Superior Court 29. The charges against them include felony armed robbery, criminal confinement, resisting law enforcement, and unlawful handgun possession. The robbery involved the restraint of the store owner and manager with duct tape, though no injuries were reported.
