Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa inaugurated the Indigenous University Student House in Chetumal, Quintana Roo. The facility, which provides housing, meals, and study spaces for 100 indigenous students, underwent a two-stage restoration process to repair electrical, plumbing, and waterproofing issues.

Although the building was originally inaugurated in 2018, it remained closed due to mismanagement and the dismantling of its installations. The reopening is part of a larger educational infrastructure initiative in the Othón P. Blanco region.
