IndiGo is expanding its international connectivity between India and Thailand through the launch of new direct flight routes. 

In late August, it was announced that non-stop, bi-weekly flights between Gaya, Bihar, and Bangkok would commence on October 26. This service is intended to leverage shared Buddhist heritage to promote regional tourism and economic development.

Additionally, direct services between Bhubaneswar and Bangkok are scheduled to resume on October 2. Initially operating twice a week, these flights will follow a specific schedule that is set to be revised after October 26. The resumption of this route aims to restore international connectivity at Biju Patnaik International Airport following previous suspensions of other international services.
