Separate incidents of suspected feminicide have been reported in Venezuela and Paraguay.

In Guárico, Venezuela, the body of 24-year-old María José Machado Ríos was found in a state of decomposition in a hotel hallway in El Socorro. Authorities have identified her former partner, Cristian de Jesús Hernández Díaz, as the primary suspect. Records indicate the victim had previously filed a domestic violence complaint against him in July. Investigations are ongoing to locate the suspect.

In Villarrica, Paraguay, 27-year-old Teresita de Jesús Sánchez Báez was found dead in a wooded area of the Santa Librada neighborhood. Following reports of a heated argument, police apprehended 20-year-old Paulo Storm Chamorro near the scene. Preliminary investigations suggest the victim was strangled, and Chamorro reportedly confessed to the act, claiming he only intended to scare her.
