The Indonesian Association of Staffing Companies (APJATI) has called for reforms regarding how the Ministry of Migrant Workers (KP2MI) handles administrative sanctions against migrant worker placement firms (P3MI). 

APJATI leadership argued that the Ministry's plan to revoke the licenses of 61 firms due to a lack of worker placements within one year is stigmatizing and potentially harmful to the industry's reputation. The association contended that many delays are caused by factors beyond the firms' control, such as regulatory gaps and moratoriums in the Middle East. APJATI has urged President Prabowo Subianto to evaluate the Ministry's performance and implement more proportional, case-by-case disciplinary measures and clearer standard operating procedures.
