In October, a boiler explosion at the Itaiquara Alimentos plant in Tapiratiba, São Paulo, resulted in the deaths of two men and left three others seriously injured. The incident occurred during machinery maintenance, and local police registered the case as a suspicious death.

In November, two separate industrial incidents were reported in Pará. In Breu Branco, a worker died from severe fractures after a heavy metal structure collapsed. Additionally, an explosion at the Curtume Ideal tannery in the Icoaraci district of Belém, reportedly caused by a boiler, injured one employee and damaged part of the facility.
