Asturias is hosting specialized forums to address industrial and scientific development in the region. In late September, it was announced that Oviedo would host a conference on October 16 titled ‘Decarbonization in Asturias: challenges and opportunities in an uncertain future’. This event focuses on the transition toward a low-emission economy, energy security, and carbon capture technologies.

Following this, the Incivasturias forum was scheduled for October 20. Organized by the SEKUENS Agency, this forum aims to address the scaling of biotechnological health solutions, specifically bridging the gap between laboratory research and industrial-scale production for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
