# Industrial workplace fatalities in Iberia

Two separate fatal workplace accidents involving falls from roofs were reported in the Iberian Peninsula. 

In Sines, Portugal, a 65-year-old man died after falling approximately six meters from a roof in the Zona Industrial Ligeira 2. The Authority for Working Conditions has been notified to investigate potential safety failures. 

In Paterna, Spain, a worker died after falling approximately ten meters from an industrial warehouse roof. While colleagues stated safety equipment was available, initial reports from the National Police indicated the individual was not wearing protective equipment at the time of the fall. The Judicial Police and Labor Inspection are investigating the incident.
