The city of Tramandaí has initiated several urban development and social service projects. The municipal government secured R$ 26 million through the Transformar Program, funded by the Development Bank of Latin America and the Caribbean (CAF) and operated by the Regional Development Bank of the Far South (BRDE).

These funds are designated for infrastructure improvements, including the remodeling of Nova Tramandaí, the revitalization of the Beira-Rio boardwalk, the duplication of Avenida Flores da Cunha, and the construction of new operational bases for the Municipal Guard and the Emergency Mobile Care Service (Samu). The city also launched construction for the Casa Amarelas Women's Reference Center to provide psychological, social, and legal assistance.

Further development plans for Tramandaí include the ‘Rua Coberta’ project. This initiative is scheduled to proceed in three phases: infrastructure and paving by mid-December, manufacturing of the metallic structure during the summer, and final installation by March 2027.
