The Doctor José Molina Orosa University Hospital in Lanzarote is undertaking various infrastructure and sustainability projects. The facility has implemented a low-enthalpy geothermal plant to meet part of its thermal energy needs, an initiative costing over 1.2 million euros as part of the Canary Health Service strategy, ‘Salud Zer0 Emisiones Netas 2030’. 

Additionally, the hospital is launching a tender valued at approximately 1.95 million euros to modernize and unify its fire protection systems. This project is intended to comply with current regulations and will be executed in phases over a maximum of 30 months to avoid disrupting hospital activities.
