In early October 2026, Advisor Achumbemo Kikon inaugurated several infrastructure projects in the Bhandari area of the Wokha district. Initial developments included a new road connecting the Bhandari Community Health Center to the local cemetery, intended to improve connectivity for residents.

Following this, Kikon inaugurated a three-story conference hall and chairman’s office for the Sub Divisional Planning and Development Board (SDPDB) at the Additional Deputy Commissioner’s premises. During related administrative meetings, Kikon addressed local challenges, including a shortage of medical staff at the Bhandari Community Health Centre and the need for a temporary road connecting Merapani and Mekirang villages.
