In eastern Turkey, provinces such as Tunceli and Bitlis are accelerating infrastructure development following improvements in local security conditions. Previously, many areas were inaccessible to citizens and state officials due to terrorism-related security concerns.

In Tunceli, officials are conducting visits to rural villages and hamlets to resume infrastructure projects that were once halted. The province aims to construct 120 kilometers of hot asphalt roads by the end of the year to provide direct access to 93 villages.

Similarly, in Bitlis, road widening and hot asphalt paving works are progressing in the Anadere and Kesan Deresi regions. Governor Ahmet Karakaya noted that the stabilization of the region has facilitated increased social and commercial activity, allowing for expanded investments in drinking water, irrigation, and village roads.
