The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) has announced several infrastructure and roadwork projects in the Shreveport area.

Initial projects include a $9.2 million repair of a 10-mile stretch of LA 525 in south Caddo Parish, involving base repairs and new asphalt paving, and a $6.8 million signage replacement project on LA 3132. 

Additionally, a $947,000 project to extend the deceleration lane on the I-20 westbound exit ramp to LA 526 was rescheduled. The work, intended to improve safety and vehicle storage, is now set for early September.
