Inter Lagos has undergone leadership changes and is struggling to maintain its position in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL). Following the resignation of Shakiru Giwa, Olusanjo Olutayo was appointed as interim head coach with the goal of securing the club’s survival in the league.

As the club attempts to recover from a period of poor performance, it has recently shown signs of momentum, securing a win and a draw in two recent outings. The team is scheduled to face Kun Khalifat FC at the Dan Anyiam Stadium in Owerri for a Matchday 10 encounter.
