Following an impressive Champions League performance against Club Brugge, forward Ange-Yoan Bonny has emerged as a significant offensive option for Inter Milan. Despite a team defeat in that match, Bonny’s goal and subsequent growth have led his agent, Federico Pastorello, to dismiss rumors of a summer departure, describing him as a ‘constant’ for the club.

Due to the absence of Lautaro Martinez, coach Cristian Chivu has considered a tactical shift for the upcoming Champions League fixture against Shakhtar Donetsk. This involves potentially starting the attacking duo of Marcus Thuram and Bonny, a pairing previously referred to as ‘ThuBo’. While player Piotr Zielinski expressed optimism regarding the team’s Champions League ambitions, he also noted that defensive aspects of the squad require improvement under Chivu’s leadership.
