Inter Women participated in both UEFA Women’s Champions League and Serie A competition in early October 2026.

In the Champions League group stage, Inter Women earned a 1-1 draw against Austria Wien. After falling behind to a 21st-minute goal by Modesta Uka, Ivana Andrés scored in the 93rd minute to secure a point. Coach Davide Sassarini noted the team showed “maturity and mental strength” despite lacking required intensity.

In domestic play, Inter Women defeated Como Women 2-0 in their second Serie A matchday at the Mino Favini stadium. The victory was secured via a penalty from Vilhjalmsdottir and a later goal by Bugeja in the 83rd minute. Following the match, Como Women coach Paolo Tramezzani noted that while the loss was attributed to specific incidents like the conceded penalty, his team’s ability to compete with a high-quality opponent showed a positive “competitive mentality.”
