To celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Interior Provincial Exhibition (IPE), the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce launched the ‘Discover Downtown—IPE Edition: Capture 125’ challenge. This interactive photo-hunt event, running from August 29 through September 6, encouraged community engagement through themed window displays at local businesses.

The IPE and Stampede officially commenced on September 2 in Armstrong. Despite rainy weather, attendees participated in rodeos, rides, and agricultural visits. A special exhibit titled ‘IPE Through the Ages’ was hosted at the Hassen Arena, featuring historical artifacts and photographs curated by museum volunteers to mark the milestone anniversary.
