Polish football officials have received several high-profile international assignments. Initially, UEFA appointed Damian Sylwestrzak to lead a refereeing team for an Under-20 Intercontinental Cup match at the Santiago Bernabéu between Real Madrid and Santiago Wanderers. Paweł Raczkowski was also named head referee for a match between Real Sociedad and Bournemouth.

Following these appointments, FIFA selected Damian Sylwestrzak to officiate matches at the FIFA U-17 World Cup in Qatar, accompanied by assistants Adam Karasewicz and Bartosz Heinig. These developments are viewed as significant steps toward the UEFA Elite category and potential future senior World Cup assignments, positioning Sylwestrzak as a possible successor to Szymon Marciniak.
