The IX International Art Festival ‘Zasjaće palaci’ took place in Kotor, Montenegro, utilizing the Old Town as an open-air contemporary art gallery. Organized by the City Gallery Kotor, the event aimed to transition visual arts from traditional spaces into the public sphere.

The festival featured works from 18 academic artists representing Montenegro, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Germany, Albania, Italy, and France. The exhibition utilized audio-visual presentations projected onto the facades of historic buildings and walls, effectively turning the city’s palaces into monumental canvases.
