Budapest police arrested three members of an international burglary gang, including two Georgian and one Bulgarian national. The group is accused of conducting nine daytime residential burglaries across six Budapest districts between September 15 and September 25.

Investigators utilized CCTV footage to track a dark blue Toyota RAV4 with Ukrainian registration plates used to transport the suspects and stolen goods. The group reportedly entered Hungary from Slovakia. The burglaries involved entering homes without causing visible damage to entrance doors, resulting in the theft of cash, jewelry, watches, and electronics valued at nearly HUF 17 million. Following their arrest in District V, a judge ordered 30 days of pre-trial detention after the suspects refused to cooperate.
