In October 2026, the Comité Champagne organized the inaugural Champagne Week in Paris, running from October 19 to 25. The event, involving various restaurants, hotels, and cellars, aimed to showcase the diversity of the wine’s styles and craftsmanship through tastings and workshops.

This initiative served as a precursor to International Champagne Day on October 23, 2026. Global celebrations for the day included programs in Australia, such as masterclasses and guided tastings in cities like Sydney and Melbourne, as well as heritage-focused activities in European wine regions like Reims and Épernay.
