The Organization of American States (OAS/OEA) has announced the deployment of an international observation mission to monitor Brazil’s general elections scheduled for October. This mission, which will observe both the first and second rounds of voting, marks the fifth such deployment since 2018. Led by former Chilean Foreign Minister José Miguel Insulza, the mission is tasked with technical and independent evaluation of the electoral process.
