International academic and professional gatherings focused on the One Health framework have been organized across multiple regions to address the links between environmental crises and human, animal, and ecosystem health.

In Sousse, Tunisia, the 5th international One Health conference brought together approximately 200 experts from 17 countries to discuss climate change, pollution, and biodiversity loss. This event resulted in the establishment of the One Health World Association, which will be headquartered in Italy.

Subsequent efforts include a conference in Valladolid, Spain, themed “Health and Environment,” focusing on the impact of nature and climate change ethics on human health. Additionally, a seminar in Valdivia, Chile, is addressing how ecosystem modifications and human-animal interactions drive emerging and reemerging zoonotic diseases.
