International interest in Ukrainian-made interceptor drones has expanded through significant procurement and funding agreements. 

In early October 2026, Germany announced a military aid package worth approximately one billion euros. This includes funding for tens of thousands of interceptor drones from Quantum Systems, which will be manufactured in Ukraine via a joint venture. These drones are intended to protect civilian infrastructure and cities from Russian attacks. 

Following this, Japan became one of the first non-European nations to order Ukrainian interceptor drones. The Japanese Ministry of Defense signed a contract with manufacturer SkyFall to acquire devices designed to neutralize attacking drones, such as the P1-SUN family. While specific contract details remain undisclosed, the procurement aims to leverage Ukraine’s rapid innovation cycle in unmanned aerial vehicle technology.
