Investigations by the Brazilian Federal Police have identified links between the financing of the biopic ‘Dark Horse’, centered on former President Jair Bolsonaro, and fraudulent activities involving the Master Bank group. 

Initial findings revealed that Karina Gama, the producer of the film, had entered into a business agreement with companies linked to Daniel Vorcaro, despite previous denials of any commercial relationship. Federal Police concluded that funds used to finance the film originated from companies connected to the Master Bank fraud. The investigation detailed a sequence of transactions where approximately R$ 12 million was moved through Entre Investimentos shortly before a US$ 2 million transfer to the Havengate fund, allegedly to mask the illicit origin of the resources.
