The Superior Tribunal of Bogotá has ratified an arrest warrant for Carlos Ramón González, the former director of the Administrative Department of the Presidency (DAPRE). 

González is being investigated for his alleged involvement in a corruption network linked to the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD). Prosecutors have leveled charges of bribery, embezzlement, and money laundering, alleging that González directed the transfer of 4,000 million pesos to the presidents of the Senate and the House of Representatives to obtain legislative support for government initiatives. 

Although the warrant is active, González remains at large as he is currently residing in Nicaragua under asylum status.
