Police in Gdynia are investigating an incident involving the vehicle of Mayor Aleksandra Kosiorek. After a wheel detached while the car was in motion, Kosiorek reported that the bolts on both rear wheels had been loosened. 

While the Mayor was not in the vehicle at the time, her husband and three children were on board. Kosiorek has filed a formal notification regarding the “endangerment of a person to the direct danger of loss of life or serious bodily harm.” Authorities have transferred the case to the Gdynia District Prosecutor's Office to determine if the tampering was accidental or intentional. Kosiorek noted she had previously received threats, and police have provided her with protection.
