Senator and presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro faces ongoing scrutiny regarding his business ties and campaign activities.

Investigations into his use of a luxury apartment in São Paulo’s l’Adresse building during his August 2026 campaign continue. The property, used for strategic meetings and media recordings, was previously owned by Fabiano Zettel, a financial operator for Daniel Vorcaro of Banco Master. Zettel sold the property at a R$ 2 million loss to a company owned by lawyer Willer Tomaz. Deputy Luciene Cavalcante has filed complaints with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) and the Prosecutor General's Office (PGR) to investigate potential economic abuse of power and the origins of the transaction funds. Bolsonaro has denied these claims, asserting he only stayed in local hotels.

Further scrutiny has emerged following the recovery of a photograph by the Federal Police during ‘Operação Sem Desconto’. The image shows Bolsonaro on a March 2025 safari in South Africa with Senator Weverton Rocha, lawyer Willer Tomaz, and businessman Carlos Alberto de Sá. Rocha and Tomaz are under investigation for suspected fraud involving National Social Security Institute (INSS) retirees, with Tomaz suspected of money laundering for Rocha. Additionally, de Sá was previously linked to corruption allegations during the COVID-19 Parliamentary Inquiry. 

Bolsonaro has dismissed these connections as “mere speculation,” maintaining that the relationships are legitimate, while Rocha characterized the trip as a private matter among friends. Records also indicate Bolsonaro utilized private jets provided by Tomaz for other travels in 2025.
