Egypt is experiencing growth in investment activity and business infrastructure. In August 2026, the government inaugurated a new investor service center in the Banha investment zone, bringing the national total to 15 centers. This facility aims to simplify procedures for over 28,000 companies in the Qalyubia, Gharbia, and Menofia governorates.

Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid Saleh reported that between January and June 2026, approximately 26,000 new companies were established, a 20% increase from the previous year. 

Following these domestic developments, the global business services provider ibex announced an expansion into Egypt with a new service delivery center in Cairo. Scheduled to begin operations in October, the facility intends to scale its workforce to 1,000 employees, leveraging the country’s multilingual workforce and digital infrastructure.
