The 13th edition of the Veterans Relay, organized by the Invictus România Association under the auspices of the Romanian Ministry of National Defence, is taking place across Romania from October 1 to 25, 2026. The project utilizes three symbolic routes—Blue, Yellow, and Red—representing the colors of the Romanian flag to honor veterans, fallen heroes, and wounded military personnel.

Early stages of the relay included the Blue route passing through Argeș County, while the Red route moved from Tulcea toward Brăila. Following segments through Bârlad and Piatra Neamț, the Red Route has continued its progression through the country.

As of mid-October, the Red Route has passed through Suceava County, where local officials described the event as a “symbol of gratitude and national unity.” The relay continues to involve a diverse group of participants, including military personnel, police, gendarmes, and local civilians.

The commemorative journey is scheduled to conclude on October 25 in Carei. The final gathering is set to coincide with Romanian Army Day, marking a symbolic reunification of the National Flag.
